This is a field based, mobile position covering Electrical Supervisor across 7 sites.
Responsibilities
- To be appointed as Authorised Person for electrical works on Mitie and client system.
- Line management of Engineering operatives. Responsibility includes induction, pre and post job briefing, technical advice and support, health and safety and performance management.
- Duties would be planned and reactive maintenance of various buildings in our client\\\βs portfolio. i.e.; Inspection and testing, emergency light testing, PAT Testing, RCD testing, installation of new equipment or replacement/repair of Lamps, Sockets etc.
- Support the engineering team and carry out team meetings and 121\\\βs.
- Provide a reactive and planned pro-active maintenance (PPM) service as per project requirements to all operational assets.
- Provide a multi-skilled maintenance service, which covers electrical, mechanical and building fabric disciplines.
- Carry out modifications and installations as and when required.
- Liaise with contractors or external suppliers where required and clearly communicate technical issues.
- Ensure that work is carried out to a high standard of quality and in line with current legal standards, company policies and procedures.
What we are looking for
- Experience of working within installations. Good understanding of current Health & Safety legislation and its application within role.
- Ability to effectively prioritise own workload and delegate to direct reports.
- Flexibility and adaptability to change / Flexible approach to work and working hours.
- Good knowledge of building Statutory Compliance. Must hold a full UK driver\\\βs license.
- Presented in a clean and tidy manner to represent the company, in the most professional manner possible, utilising the uniform and PPE issued.
- Responsible for self and others to maintain a safe working environment as per the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974) and subsequent UK and EU amendments.
- HSE management in accordance with our Quality Management System and all legal and statutory requirements.
Qualifications
- Gas: NVQ Level 3 in Heating/Ventilation/Maintenance. COCN1 OR CODNCO1 (domestic to commercial changeover), CORT1, TPCP1A, CIGA1, CDGA1, ICPN1
- Desirable: AC/HVAC β NVQ Level 3 in Air Conditioning/Maintenance, F Gas Qualification
- Electrical β NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or Apprenticeship β Essential
- 18th Edition β Essential
- 2391-52 Testing and Inspection β Essential
- Plumbing β NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing β Desirable
