Mitie is looking for a Retail security officer who can deliver exceptional customer service while creating a safe shopping environment free from the fear of crime for customers and colleagues.

Eligibility and Vetting

  • Preferable to hold a current SIA licence or SIA certificates (training can be provided in some circumstances).
  • Full 5‑year checkable employment/education history is required; failure to provide may result in offer withdrawal or termination.

Main Duties

  • Deliver industry leading customer service.
  • Deter violence and public order offences.
  • Conduct patrols of the store.
  • Utilise CCTV systems to reduce crime and stock loss.
  • Liaise with store management teams.
  • Liaise with Police and crime partnerships to support crime reduction.
  • Wear body‑worn CCTV to enhance safety.
