Vantage based in Bury, Greater Manchester, who are part of Mitie Telecoms, are looking for a Lift Supervisor who will work to deliver multiple lifting operation projects. Providing expert lifting guidance supporting the wider team to ensure compliance and safe working practices at all times. The role will involve travel across the UK to various project sites. You will be instrumental in delivering a safe, successful lifting operations provision.
Main Duties:
- Responsible for the execution and safety of all lifting operations in accordance with BS7121.
- Reviewing all risk assessments and method statements, recording findings in the dynamic risk assessment.
- Ensuring all safe conditions of the lifting appliances and lifting equipment are recorded accurately within the method statements.
- Managing, storing and retaining all records including photographs for audit purposes and quality control.
- Supervise work and consult with other responsible persons to ensure work is undertaken as safely as possible.
- Assess weather conditions and all other impacts; empowered to stop any activity that is deemed unsafe.
Ideal Candidate:
- CPCS card or equivalent – Red (in training) or Blue (trained operator).
- CPCS Slinger Signaller.
- Asbestos Awareness.
- Working at height.
- Driving License Cat B.
