Mitie is looking for a Retail Security Officer who can deliver exceptional customer service whilst creating a safe shopping environment, free from the fear of crime for customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

It is preferable that you hold a current SIA licence or SIA Certificates (though training to obtain a licence can be provided in some circumstances).

Vetting

A full 5‑year checkable employment and education history is required; failure to provide this may result in offer withdrawal or termination.

Main duties

  • Deliver industry‑leading customer service
  • Deter violence and public‑order offences
  • Conduct store patrols
  • Utilise CCTV systems to support the reduction of crime and stock loss
  • Liaise with store management teams
  • Liaise with Police and crime partnerships where required to foster a working relationship to support the reduction of crime in store
  • Wear body‑worn CCTV to increase safety for colleagues and customers
