We are seeking a highly skilled and technically proficient Project Commissioning Engineer to support the successful delivery of fire and security projects across a diverse portfolio. This role involves commissioning both small and large‑scale systems, and requires planning, coordination and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commission fire detection and alarm systems in accordance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage commissioning activities to ensure successful and efficient project delivery.
  • Liaise with clients and key stakeholders to meet programme deadlines while maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Conduct site surveys, installation inspections, and system testing to ensure compliance, performance, and functionality.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to engineers, subcontractors, and project teams.
  • Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations across all project activities and sites.
  • Maintain accurate commissioning records and produce detailed technical documentation and reports.
  • Deliver system training and operational guidance to clients and end‑users.
  • Manage labour and materials effectively to support timely and cost‑efficient project completion.
  • Contribute to project meetings and provide technical input across all stages of the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee and support engineers and subcontractors, including task allocation and performance management.
  • Monitor project performance, supporting profitability and reporting progress to the Project Manager.
  • Assist with installation, commissioning, and minor works as required to support the wider team.
  • Promote and uphold company standards in quality, safety, and environmental compliance at all times.
