Job Overview
Protect customers' property, people and assets by providing security services in accordance with the site’s Assignment Instructions (AI's) and any subsequent changes. Deliver results that meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators / Service Level Agreements and support the retention of the contract. Undertake additional training to ensure continuous self‑development.
Main Duties
- Operations
- Ensure compliance with all policies, legal and regulatory requirements as directed by the Security Account Manager and in accordance with UK law.
- Fully and satisfactorily complete all tasks and duties on site as defined in the Assignment Instructions.
- Proactively review Assignment Instructions, suggest amendments to improve service level.
- Maintain compliance with industry and statutory legislation, wear required licence at all times, including front‑line licence and CCTV PSS SIA Licence.
- Comply with legal obligations and safety requirements.
- Follow instructions and procedures appropriately without unnecessarily challenging authority.
- Work systematically, methodically and orderly.
- Training
- Complete all required competency training.
- Undertake additional training as directed by the Security Account Manager.
- Use technology to achieve key work objectives and develop professional competence.
- Renew licence 16 weeks before expiry.
- Security and Health
- Involve others if situation becomes threatening.
- Maintain professional conduct in challenging situations and with customers.
- Complete accurate detailed notebook entries after incidents, for Incident Report process.
- Keep to schedules and demonstrate commitment to Mitie and the client.
- Ensure check calls are carried out at allocated times per Assignment Instructions.
- Call emergency services and Communication Centre to report all incidents.

- Previous security experience.
- SIA licence.
- SC clearance desirable.
