Job Overview
Mitie is looking for elite security officers who can deliver exceptional customer service whilst providing a highly visible presence that reduces the impact of anti‑social behaviour upon colleagues and customers. You must hold a current SIA licence.
Vetting
It is essential you have a full 5‑year checkable employment/education history. Failure to do so could result in offer withdrawal or employment being terminated.
Main Duties
- Deliver industry leading customer service.
- Create a safe environment, free from crime and the fear of crime for customers and colleagues.
- Manage anti‑social behaviour and build relationships with individuals that cause it.
- Engage with members of the public by providing a welcoming presence.
- Support the public and visitors with queries in a friendly and polite manner, demonstrating excellent customer service.
- Support the police and crime partnership where required to aid in the reduction of crime in the store.
- Wear body‑worn CCTV to support the reduction of crime and increase colleague and customer safety.
