Care and Custody (Mitie), in partnership with Leicestershire Police, provides Sexual Assault Referral Centre services to adults across Leicester City, Leicestershire, and Rutland. We have an exciting opportunity for Nurses and/or Midwives with significant experience in Forensic Medicine or specialisms such as Sexual Health, Genitourinary Medicine, General Practice, or Obstetrics & Gynecology to join our dedicated team.
Working within the SARC, you will provide confidential medical and practical support to individuals who have experienced sexual crimes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting forensic examinations and collecting sexual assault evidence for police investigations.
- Recording and reporting injuries with accuracy and sensitivity.
- Supporting patients through a challenging and vulnerable time.

Minimum Requirements
- Qualified RN Adult, RMN (dual registration), RGN, or Paramedic
- Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in a patient-facing role within a relevant field
- Previous appointment and specialist training in one or more of the following:
- Genito-urinary medicine
- Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Paediatrics
- Reproductive & Sexual Health
- Accident & Emergency
- General Practice
