At Mitie, our people are our greatest strength, and our promise is to create a place to work where you can thrive and be your best every day. We're looking for a Multi Skilled Technician who will deliver mobile facilities support services across Midlands client sites as part of the DfT contract.
Responsibilities
- Carry out PPM service, test, diagnose and repair of mechanical and electrical installations, plant and equipment.
- Deliver reactive, planned and ad hoc maintenance tasks while assisting mobile engineers as required.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all assigned work orders using PDA and systems.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring building occupants are kept informed of work progress.
- Work flexibly across trades, supporting the wider maintenance team and undertaking additional duties when required.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant City & Guilds / NVQ qualifications with experience in mechanical or electrical systems.
- Good knowledge of planned and reactive maintenance within commercial buildings and statutory compliance.
- Legionella awareness and strong understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental policies.
- IT skills to complete work orders via PDA and Windows-based systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and duties.
