The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
We are looking for an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor focusing on the water industry. You will be responsible for carrying out legionella risk assessments manually and electronically, ensuring that risk assessment paperwork and reports are completed correctly and returned, and carrying out other operational work from time to time to ensure contractual commitments are met.
You will also undertake legionella risk assessments in accordance with:
- Approved Code of Practice (ACOP) L8 (Fourth edition)
- Technical guidance documents of HSG274
- British Standard code of practice for Risk assessing BS8580-1 2019
- Health Technical Memorandum 04‑01: Safe Water in Healthcare Premises
The ideal candidate will have a qualification in a City and Guilds Risk Assessing course (or equivalent) and experience in legionella risk assessing, a broad knowledge of the relevant guidelines, sufficient experience in the water treatment industry, strong knowledge of health and safety, commercial awareness, good planning skills, IT literacy, the ability to use a PDA to evidence compliance and productivity, skill to draw schematic diagrams, a full UK driver’s licence with less than 6 points, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
