Residential Short-Term Holding Facility, Larne
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Healthcare Professional to join our team at the Residential Short-Term Holding Facility in Larne.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and wellbeing of residents, ensuring all healthcare needs are identified, assessed and managed appropriately. You will deliver high-quality clinical care within a unique residential custodial environment while maintaining accurate records using electronic clinical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centred clinical care.
- Assess, monitor and manage residents' healthcare needs.
- Respond effectively to both acute and non-acute medical situations.
- Maintain accurate, timely and confidential clinical records using electronic systems.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
- Promote the health, wellbeing and welfare of residents at all times.
Essential Experience And Skills
Applicants must have:
- A minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience in a patient-facing clinical role.
- Experience within one or more of the following settings:
- Accident & Emergency (A&E)
- General Practice
- Emergency Medicine
- Acute Medicine
- Prison Healthcare
- Ambulance Services
- The ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a wide range of clinical presentations.
- Strong communication, documentation and organisational skills.
You Must Hold One Of The Following Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN/RGN) with a minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience at Band 5 level or above.
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with dual registration and a minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience.
- Registered Paramedic with a minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience.
Successful Candidates Must
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Have held British citizenship, a British passport, or Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) status for a minimum of 3 years.
- Have no absences from the UK exceeding 3 months during this period.
- Be eligible to undergo and successfully obtain Counter Terrorist Check (CTC) Clearance.
