Mitie is seeking a Retail Security Officer to deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring a safe shopping environment. The successful candidate will deter violence, support store protection, and collaborate with store management and local police.
Qualifications
- Current SIA licence or SIA certificate required.
- SIA CCTV licence desirable but not mandatory.
- Full 5‑year checkable employment/education history required; failure to provide may result in offer withdrawal.
Main Duties
- Deliver industry‑leading customer service.
- Deterrence of violence and public order offences.
- Conduct patrols of the store.
- Utilise CCTV systems to support the reduction of crime and stock loss.
- Liaise with store management teams.
- Liaise with police and crime partnerships to foster effective relationships.
- Wear body‑worn CCTV to enhance crime reduction and colleague and customer safety.
