We are looking for a Key Account Manager who will successfully manage and develop key client accounts whilst managing the collection and packaging of hazardous chemical waste (lab‑smalls) at our Central London‑based university client, alongside supporting wider Mitie Waste business activities.

Responsibilities

  • Successfully manage and develop key client accounts.
  • Manage the collection and packaging of hazardous chemical waste (lab‑smalls) at a Central London‑based university client.
  • Fulfil other technical chemist / account management activities in support of the wider Mitie Waste business.
  • Audit suppliers and client sites.
  • Manage risk assessments and method statements for on‑site waste activities under Mitie control.

Qualifications

  • Previous knowledge of the waste and recycling sector.
  • HNC or above in Chemistry or related field.
  • Sound knowledge of legislative requirements governing clinical and hazardous waste types (WM3).
