Mitie is looking for a Retail Security Officer who can deliver exceptional customer service while creating a safe shopping environment free from the fear of crime for customers and colleagues.
Eligibility and Vetting
Preferable to hold a current SIA licence or SIA certificates (training can be provided in some circumstances). Full 5‑year checkable employment/education history is required; failure to provide may result in offer withdrawal or termination.
Main Duties
- Deliver industry leading customer service.
- Deter violence and public order offences.
- Conduct patrols of the store.
- Utilise CCTV systems to reduce crime and stock loss.
- Liaise with store management teams.
- Liaise with Police and crime partnerships to support crime reduction.
- Wear body‑worn CCTV to enhance safety.
