ROLE: Junior Site Contractor Manager

Mitie have an exciting new opportunity for a Junior Site Contractor Manager to join the team at BAE Systems.

You will be the primary Mitie site representative for all subcontractor and MNW activity at BAE Borough, managing daily site activities, support in isolations and access restrictions, and ensure all works are compliant with Health and Safety.

Main Duties

  • Manage daily site activities, coordinating access, sequencing, and interfaces between multiple workstreams,
  • Consult with Mitie Project/FM Managers to report progress, emerging risks, and delivery issues,
  • Manage contractor attendance, escorting requirements, and compliance with BAE site rules,
  • Chair or support coordination briefings involving multiple contractors or high‑risk activities,
  • Ensure all works are delivered in strict compliance with: CDM Regulations 2015, Building Safety Act 2022, Mitie QHSE standards, BAE SHE standards,
  • Review, accept, and brief contractor RAMS prior to work starting and conduct site inspections,
  • What We Are Looking For
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager, Small works Supervisor or operational health and safety role,
  • Knowledge of CDM 2015,
  • Competence in RAMS review and knowledge permit‑to‑work systems,
  • Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors on live operational sites,
  • Confident communicator with authority to challenge unsafe practices,
  • SMSTS or SSSTS (willingness to undertake qualification),
