We\’re looking for a School janitor who will deliver excellent service standards, while meeting SLA agreements and adhering to cleaning schedules.

Contract: East Ayrshire Schools
Type: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: 37 hours per week
Pay: £12.90 per hour
Location: Grange Campus, Beech Avenue, Kilmarnock, East Ayrshire, Scotland, KA1 2EW
Role Responsibilities
- Undertake all required training and follow Mitie\\\’s Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policies.
- Maintain equipment in clean, safe working order and understand all cleaning materials and chemicals used.
- Ensure proper maintenance, cleaning, security, and safety of school premises and grounds.
- Respond to helpdesk jobs, unlock/lock buildings, and carry out porterage and room setups.
- Perform PPM tasks including fire alarm tests, emergency light checks, and support out-of-hours building use.
