Hourly Rate of Pay: £13.55

Contract Type: Permanent

Type of Employment: Full Time

Total Weekly Contractual Hours: 42

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off – 6pm to 6am

Location: Mitie, Genesis Way, Grimsby, North Lincolnshire, England DN37 9TU

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent service standards for the delivery of routine planned and periodic cleaning for a Mitie customer. Ensure the contract service delivery is of a high standard, meeting all SLA agreements whilst adhering to the cleaning schedules.
• Carry out daily and periodic cleans to the required standard based on the cleaning schedule in place. Perform general Low Risk hygiene tasks including, but not limited to, washing equipment, walls, floors & overheads, mopping floors, belt cleaning and using scrubbing/sweeping equipment. Complete any reasonable tasks given by the Management Team.
• Work safely as part of a team to ensure the highest standards of visual and microbiological hygiene across all areas of the site. Liaise closely with Hygiene Supervisor. Work with chemicals and ensure containers are labelled and locked at all times.
• Follow all hygiene, food safety, quality, H&S procedures, and the company terms & conditions. Complete related documents and records. Operate cleaning equipment and complete deep sanitation. Handle chemicals as per COSHH training and regulations. Comply with Hygiene Cleaning Schedule.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to work night shifts based on a 4 on 4 off rota.
• What We Are Looking For
• In this role previous experience as a food manufacturing cleaner is desirable but not compulsory as full training will be provided. You will need to be able to dismantle equipment and machinery, handle and use chemicals – subject to pass COSHH training. IPAF is desirable but not essential.
