Role Overview: We are looking for a Hygiene Operative to provide excellent service standards for the delivery of routine planned and periodic cleaning for a Mitie customer. The role holder will be responsible for meeting all SLA agreements whilst adhering to the cleaning schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out general high risk and low risk hygiene tasks including washing equipment, walls, floor & overheads, mopping floors, belt cleaning & using scrubbing/sweeping equipment.
- Work as part of a team to ensure the highest standards of visual and microbiological hygiene are maintained across all areas of the site.
- Liaise closely with the Hygiene Team Leader, use chemicals safely, label and lock containers at all times.
- Operate cleaning equipment and complete deep sanitation.
- Dismantle equipment and machinery, handle and use chemicals following COSHH training.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a food manufacturing cleaner desirable but not compulsory; training will be provided.
- Ability to dismantle equipment and machinery.
- Knowledge of chemical handling and COSHH.
- Desirable: IPAF certification.
