We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to deliver high‑quality service, maintenance and repair of mechanical building services across client sites, ensuring excellent safety, compliance and customer service standards.

Role Responsibilities

  • Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on mechanical installations including ventilation systems (AHUs, intakes and extracts), heating and cooling systems (thermal wheels, FCUs) and water system assets such as booster sets, chlorifiers and water heaters.
  • Deliver a high standard of service to clients by responding to queries, reporting defects and keeping customers informed of site activities during service visits.
  • Complete all work‑related documentation accurately and on time, maintaining detailed inspection reports, logs and records of remedial works.
  • Undertake manual tasks including manual handling, working at height and working in confined spaces, in line with safe systems of work.
  • Participate in the on‑call rota and use mobile devices effectively to support maintenance activities and communication.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience within a maintenance or facilities‑management environment.
  • City & Guilds Level 3 or Level 5 NVQ, HNC or equivalent qualification in a mechanical discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation, permit to work procedures and safe systems of working.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to complete documentation accurately.
  • Full UK driving licence (essential).
