We’re looking for a Regional Waste Manager to oversee waste service delivery across the JLL / Rolls Royce account, ensuring consistent, high‑quality services across multiple client locations in the North and Midlands.

Role Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage waste service delivery across multiple client sites, ensuring services meet contractual requirements, quality standards and client expectations at all times.
  • Lead, support and develop the waste team responsible for service delivery, promoting high performance, engagement and a strong safety culture aligned with Mitie and client requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key client and internal stakeholders, acting as a trusted point of contact and ensuring open, effective communication at all levels.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for complex or unresolved issues, resolving complaints promptly and effectively to maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs and SLAs, attending monthly client meetings, presenting performance data, and driving continuous improvement and value‑added initiatives across the account.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience within the waste industry, with strong knowledge of waste and recycling best practices, including hazardous and non‑hazardous waste management.
  • Demonstrable experience in contract and performance management, including KPI monitoring, service reviews and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong communication, organisational and IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel, and a sound understanding of health and safety requirements.
