We’re looking for a Fire Risk Assessor who will carry out high-quality fire risk assessments on behalf of our clients across a wide variety of sites, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and delivering excellent service standards.
Role Responsibilities
- Carry out suitable and comprehensive fire risk assessments in accordance with relevant legislation and client requirements.
- Conduct site-based inspections across industrial, commercial and residential premises within agreed timescales.
- Complete fire risk assessments using a digital app on a tablet or mobile phone.
- Communicate regularly with the back-office team to support report completion and data coordination.
- Act as a professional representative of Mitie while on client sites, including travelling across the UK and staying away from home when required.
Required Qualifications
- NEBOSH Fire Certificate (full) or another recognised fire safety qualification, with evidence of experience and competence in undertaking fire risk assessments.
- Proven track record of producing high-quality, detailed fire risk assessment reports.
- Full UK driving licence is essential.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive, can-do and hands-on approach.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, dealing directly with customers in a professional manner.
