We are seeking a Helpdesk Operative to join our team at Mitie in Buxton, Harpur Hill. The ideal candidate will be a passionate individual with customer service experience, responsible for managing phone call and email requests, supporting employees, and logging information onto a database. The role requires the ability to deliver high levels of service, remain professional at all times, and ensure that Mitie’s policies, processes, and procedures are followed. As a Helpdesk Operator, you will be tasked with managing the flow of requests to ensure a continuous and efficient service.

Responsibilities
  • Answer emails, phone calls, and walk-in queries while logging jobs.
  • Send quotes to clients for approval and inform engineers of daily workloads.
  • Produce reprographics and printing requests for training on site.
  • Fulfill contractual obligations with the client and ensure service delivery aligns with contracts.
  • Act as the first line of contact for the Mitie team, answering calls and emails efficiently and meeting customer needs.
  • Input and output help desk data timely and monitor performance against SLA.
  • Manage workloads under pressure to meet challenging deadlines.
Qualifications
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
  • Good planning and organisational skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
