Main Duties

  • Protect customer’s property, people, and assets in accordance with Assignment Instructions (AI’s) and any changes.
  • Deliver results that meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators / Service Level Agreements, ensuring contract retention.
  • Uphold compliance with all policies, legal and regulatory requirements, and UK law.
  • Complete all tasks and duties on site as defined in the Assignment Instructions.
  • Proactively review Assignment Instructions and suggest improvements.
  • Wear required front‑line licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision) and CCTV PSS SIA Licence at all times.
  • Renew licence 16 weeks before expiry.
  • Follow instructions and procedures without unnecessarily challenging authority.
  • Work systematically and orderly.

Training

  • Complete all required competency training.
  • Undertake additional training as directed by the Security Account Manager.
  • Use technology to achieve key work objectives and improve job knowledge.

Security and Health & Safety

  • Identify and report any health & safety hazards immediately.
  • Stay alert to threats or changes and take appropriate action.
  • Maintain professional conduct in difficult situations and with challenging customers.
  • Record incidents promptly in notebook entries for Incident Report.
  • Maintain schedules and demonstrate commitment to Mitie and the client.
  • Ensure check calls are executed at allocated times.
  • Call emergency services and Communications Centre to report all incidents.

What We Are Looking For

  • Previous security experience.
  • SIA licence.
  • Security Clearance (SC) desirable.
