ROLE: Air Hygiene Supervisor

HOURS: 40 hours per week

LOCATION: Chelmsford (need to cover southeast region if required)

Salary: £31,000 - £33,000

We're looking for an Air Hygiene Supervisor to lead ventilation and kitchen extract cleaning projects, supervise operatives, and deliver exceptional service to our customers while ensuring full compliance with industry standards.

Role Responsibilities

  • Supervise operatives, ensuring all work is completed safely, in line with RAMS, and to the highest professional standards.
  • Carry out kitchen extract and ventilation system cleaning in accordance with TR19 Grease and TR19 requirements.
  • Install access doors in accordance with DW144 and inspect fire dampers in accordance with BS9999.
  • Complete site inspections, preventative maintenance activities, risk assessments, service reports, and maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, ensuring works are explained clearly and all work areas are left clean and tidy.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of ventilation systems management, cleaning techniques, fire damper testing, and access door installation in line with TR19, BS9999, and DW144.
  • Previous experience supervising teams and delivering high-quality air hygiene or ventilation services.
  • Valid UK Driving Licence.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, manage time efficiently, and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with excellent work ethics, cultural awareness, and commitment to health, safety, and environmental policies.
