Better places, thriving communities. Mitie has a great opportunity for an Officer Development Lead to join the Total Security Management Team. The Officer Development Lead is responsible for the development and performance of a number of Retail Security Officers within the agreed geographical area. You will use highly effective coaching and performance management to deliver an industry leading retail security team for our client.

Main Duties

  • The officer development lead will effectively support and assist the Security Operations Manager in managing the performance of a designated region, ensuring that all contracted and temporary hours are fulfilled by trained officers to the complete satisfaction of those stores/clients.
  • Responsible for the Mitie company induction and the comprehensive retail training programme for all newly appointed retail security officers.
  • Delivery of all corporate training documentation and adhoc training to the required standard to all retail security officers within your identified area of responsibility.
  • Delivery of ongoing support to all retail security officers to ensure learning is imbedded and supports ongoing performance improvement.
  • Analysis of risk data to assist in the delivery of the operational resource to risk model in line with the clients safer communities project.
  • Reporting to the Security Operations Manager, and deputising for them in their absence – you will take full responsibility for the operational performance of the allocated business in relation to overall targets set, ensuring compliance with key SLA's/KPI's.
