Overview
Grounds Maintenance Operative at Mitie. Contract: Permanent. Type: Full Time. Hours: 40 per week. Pay: £12.71 per hour. Location: Aviva, Pitheavlis, Perth, Perth and Kinross, PH2 0NH. Requirement: Full Driving Licence.
Responsibilities
- Carry out grass and hedge cutting, border maintenance, leaf clearing, spraying, and litter picking
- Operate hand tools and powered horticultural machinery safely and effectively
- Deliver winter services including gritting, snow clearance, and Christmas tree installation
- Report site hazards and relevant information to management
- Follow health and safety procedures and undertake additional training as required
Qualifications
- Passion for working outdoors in agile and flexible environments
- Good understanding of smartphone technology
- Grounds maintenance experience is desirable but not essential
- PAI & PA6 spraying license is a plus
- Full UK driving license preferred for roles involving company vehicles
