Mitie Landscapes offers an exciting opportunity for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team at the UK's leading FM company. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will deliver grounds maintenance and winter services for our clients' sites.
Main duties include:
- Grass and hedge cutting
- Border maintenance
- Leaf clearing
- Spraying
- Litter picking
- Operating hand tools and horticultural machinery to maintain high standards
During winter, additional services such as gritting, snow clearing, and Christmas tree installation are required. You will also report site hazards, operate vehicles and machinery safely, and undertake training as needed.
Applicants should be passionate about outdoor work and adaptable to flexible environments, with a good understanding of smartphone technology. Previous grounds maintenance experience is desirable but not essential, nor is a PAI & PA6 spraying license. A full driving license is preferable due to some roles requiring the use of company vehicles.
