Mitie Landscapes has an exciting opportunity for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team at the UK’s market leading FM company. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will be delivering Grounds Maintenance and Winter Services and ensuring you deliver the exceptional every day.
You will be responsible for:
- Maintaining our clients' sites.
- Grass cutting, hedge cutting, border maintenance, leaf clearance, litter picking, and spraying.
- Delivering our winter services, including gritting and snow clearance.
- Providing management with relevant information and reporting as required, including reporting any site hazards.
- Operating all vehicles, machinery and equipment in accordance with Health & Safety procedures.
- Undertaking training as and when required.
Essential
What we are looking for:
- A passion for working outdoors.
- Prepared to work in an agile and flexible working environment (Winter working).
- A good understanding of smartphone technology.
- Must be able to commute to site.
Desirable but not essential:
- Grounds Maintenance and Gritting experience.
- PA1 & PA6 spraying licence.
- Full driving licence (not required for all our roles).
