Mitie Landscapes, a UK market‑leading facilities management company, is looking for a Gritting Operative to join our Winter Services team. You will support our Contracts Manager by gritting various sites across the regional area throughout the winter period, ensuring safe, timely and exceptional service delivery.
Hourly Rate of Pay: £24
Position Type: Fixed‑Term Contract
Type of Employment: Full Time
Location: Regional Recruitment – Worcester & Kidderminster – Warwickshire & West Mercia – Grove Street, Redditch, Worcestershire, England, B98 8DD
Requirement: Full UK Driving Licence
Responsibilities
- Gritting various sites within your regional area
- Driving a company vehicle with a gritting hopper
- Filling your van with rock salt to distribute
- Completing your duties in a safe and timely manner
Qualifications
- A passion for working outdoors
- Prepared to work in an agile and flexible working environment
- A good understanding of smartphone technology
