We are recruiting for a Logistics Operative who will manage the day‑to‑day portering and mail services for our Mitie client base in London. The role requires an organised team player committed to delivering the highest standard of work within a busy corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and take responsibility for work, administration and the collection of mail and parcels across the logistics team.
- Operate machinery to scan parcels, including an X‑ray machine, and handle lifting and carrying large items in accordance with Manual Handling policies.
- Maintain high accuracy with numbers and record keeping.
- Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Follow health and safety regulations while working in a fast‑paced environment.
Qualifications
- Background in facilities maintenance or waste handling for confidential items.
- Strong numerical competence and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and individually.
- Knowledge of health and safety and manual handling procedures.
