What You'll Be Doing
- Learning all aspects of painting and decorating across a variety of environments
- Preparing surfaces for work
- Using a range of tools, materials and equipment safely
- Assisting with painting, wallpapering and finishing tasks
- Learning decorating techniques and industry standards
- Supporting decorators on live projects and maintenance works
- Following health & safety procedures and safe working practices
- Maintaining clean and organised working areas
- Developing an understanding of colour matching, finishes and materials
- Attending college as part of your apprenticeship and completing coursework
- Building confidence working independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
