Job Overview
Provide security services in accordance with the site’s published Assignment Instructions (AI’s) and any subsequent changes.
Deliver results that meet or exceed the Key Performance Indicators/Service Level Agreement, ensuring full responsibility and accountability to aid in contract retention.
Undertake additional training for continuous self‑development.
Responsibilities
- Protect customers’ property, people and assets by providing security services aligned with the Assignment Instructions.
- Deliver outcomes that meet or exceed KPIs and SLAs, ensuring contract retention.
- Maintain compliance with all policies, UK law, guidance bodies and statutory legislation, and obtain the necessary front‑line or door supervision licence, CCTV PSS SIA licence and any other contract‑specific courses.
- Complete all on‑site tasks as defined in the Assignment Instructions, and proactively review and suggest amendments to improve service.
- Follow instructions and procedures without unnecessarily challenging authority. Work systematically and orderly.
- Identify and report Health & Safety hazards or incidents immediately; complete a detailed notebook entry and report incidents to the Emergency Services and Communication Centre.
- Conduct scheduled check calls in accordance with the Assignment Instructions.
- Use technology to achieve key work objectives and continue developing job knowledge through professional development.
- Training
- Complete all required competency training.
- Take additional training directed by the Security Account Manager.
- Renew licences 16 weeks before expiry.
- Security & Health & Safety
- Monitor for hazards, threats or changes in the work environment and take appropriate action to reduce risk.
- Maintain professionalism in difficult situations and with challenging customers.
- Keep schedules and demonstrate commitment to Mitie and the Client.
Qualifications
- Previous security experience.
- Valid SIA Licence.
- SC Clearance desirable.
