Essential Experience
Applicants must have at least two years\\\’ post‑qualification experience in a patient‑facing role within a relevant clinical environment such as:
- A&E
- General Practice
- Emergency Medicine
- Acute Medicine
- Prison Healthcare
- Ambulance Service
Your background should demonstrate your ability to deliver high‑quality care, remain calm under pressure, and manage a wide range of clinical situations effectively.
A full driving licence is essential.
About The Role
Working in partnership with the Police, you will be based in custody suites providing healthcare to detainees. Our service operates 24/7 to ensure detainee safety and wellbeing, following a rota agreed with our client. You will work both in your base custody suite and flexibly across your assigned regional Police Force area as required.
Salary & Benefits
- £20,500 per year
- £500 bonus on completion of 12 months\\\’ service
- Average overtime earning potential: £3,500 per year
- NMC/HCPC registration fees paid
- Part time – fixed shift pattern: 06:45 to 19:00 for day shifts and 18:45 to 07:00 for night shifts, on a team rota pattern of 2 days, 8 days, 2 nights, 4 days off. Rolling rota available 2 years in advance.
Requirements
- RN, RGN or (RMN with dual registration): 2 years post qualification – Band 5 minimum
- Paramedic: 2 years post qualification
- Must have RTW in UK, Lived in UK British Passport or ILR for 3 years + no gaps out of country more than 3 months
- All candidates will be subject to Police Vetting
