Overview
We are looking for an experienced Engineer to work as a member of the Mitie Fire & Security Systems Operations Field service team. You\’ll ensure effective delivery of PPM, Reactive calls and additional Small Works, ensuring compliance with all Legal and Regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Carry out routine servicing, testing, inspection, repairs, and installation of Fire alarms, CCTV, Access control and Intruder alarm/associated equipment and products to the relevant legislative and qualitative standards, alongside appropriate documentation and records in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Work to high levels of Health and Safety requirements; carry out PPM, reactive calls and Small Works in the Fire & Security Systems industry; service test and inspection to the relevant standards/codes; fault-finding techniques.
- Attend and participate in company-initiated training to maintain up-to-date knowledge of technical aspects of the role.
- Desirable: experience with PPM, Accident Reporting, or RAMS; follow Health and Safety Legislation; share technical and problem-solving abilities with colleagues; take initiative and work with little supervision.

- Ability to follow Health and Safety legislation
- Experience in the engineering field preferred
- Strong communication skills; basic Microsoft Word and Excel literacy
- Previous experience in the Fire & Security Systems industry
