About The Role
As a Nuclear Security Officer, you'll be part of a professional team responsible for keeping people, property, and assets safe. No two days are the same, and you'll play an important role in creating a secure environment for employees, contractors, and visitors.
Your Duties Will Include
- Welcoming, assisting and managing access for employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Conducting security checks, vehicle inspections and pass verification.
- Carrying out site patrols using security systems and vehicles where required.
- Responding professionally to incidents and emergencies.
- Maintaining accurate records and incident reports.
- Working closely with colleagues, emergency services, and security partners to maintain site safety.
- Ensuring security procedures and regulatory requirements are followed.
This role combines customer service, teamwork, problem-solving, and security responsibilities, making it ideal for individuals who enjoy working with people whilst maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.

- Previous security experience (desirable but not essential).
A full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential.
SC Clearance (Desirable) but must be obtained as a condition of your employment.
Please note that successful completion and maintenance of Security Clearance (SC) is a condition of employment for this role. Candidates must be able to obtain and retain the required level of clearance and satisfy all associated vetting requirements. Failure to obtain or maintain the required clearance may result in the offer of employment being withdrawn or employment being terminated.

- 2 x 12-hour day shifts (06:00-18:00)
- 2 x 12-hour night shifts (18:00-06:00)

- 12-hour shifts (06:00-18:00 or 18:00-06:00)
- Weekends only
- Flexible commitment of one or more shifts per week
