As part of our growing Engineering family, we are looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer or Fabric Engineer to join our Facilities Support Service team at the airport. This is a hands-on role delivering building maintenance and remedial works across a large estate.
What You'll Be Doing
- You will be responsible for delivering high-quality building fabric services, including minor plumbing, carpentry, painting and decorating, patch repairs and general maintenance, planned maintenance tasks to name a few.
- Keep clients informed of progress and updates.
- Accurately record all activities, remedial works, and inspection logs using in-house system.
- Use IT systems to log tasks and updates.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures, on time to avoid KPI failures.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in building services or a similar environment.
- Physically fit – able to work at height, in confined spaces, and perform manual handling.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Good IT skills and familiarity with CAFM systems.
- A proactive, self-motivated, and safety-conscious approach.
- A challenging and inquisitive mindset.
Duties May Include (but Are Not Limited To)
- Delivering a high-quality service to clients.
- Managing and prioritising your workload effectively.
- Completing all documentation accurately and on time.
- Complying with all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Participating in training and appraisal activities.
- Carrying out general fabric work (plumbing, carpentry, tiling, painting, etc.).
- Performing any reasonable tasks as instructed by the Operations Manager.
