Relief Security Officer – Torquay and Exeter Area

We're looking for a professional, reliable, and flexible Relief Security Officer to join our team in the Torquay, Teignmouth and surrounding areas. This role requires someone who can cover a variety of shifts and locations, so access to your own vehicle and a full UK driving licence is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a visible and vigilant security presence across various client sites.
• Follow site‑specific Assignment Instructions (AI's) and ensure full compliance.
• Maintain a high standard of personal and professional conduct.
• Ensure the safety of the public and staff by proactively monitoring for risks and hazards.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and effectively.
• Accurately document incidents and ensure all reporting procedures are followed.
• Make timely check calls and emergency contacts as required.
• Attend and complete all required training and development programmes.

What You'll Need

• Valid SIA Licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision – CCTV PSS preferred).
• Previous security experience (retail security experience is an advantage).
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
• Strong communication skills and a calm, confident approach under pressure.
• Flexibility to cover days, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
