Job Overview
Mitie is looking for a Retail Security Officer to deliver exceptional customer service while creating a safe shopping environment free from fear of crime for customers and colleagues.
Vetting
It is vital that you have a full 5-year checkable employment/education history. Failure to do so could mean your offer will be withdrawn or your employment terminated.
Responsibilities
- Deliver industry leading customer service
- Deter violence and public order offences
- Conduct patrols of the store
- Utilise CCTV systems to reduce crime and stock loss
- Liaise with store management teams
- Liaise with Police and crime partnerships to support reduction of crime in store
- Wear body‑worn CCTV to support reduction of crime and increase colleague and customer safety
Qualifications
Preferable to hold a current SIA licence or SIA certificates, though training for a licence can be provided in some circumstances.
