Mitie is hiring a Retail Security Officer for Sainsbury's Ely, Cambridge. Pay: £14.51 per hour | Reference: 96069 | Shifts: Various (to be discussed at interview)

Job Overview

Provide exceptional customer service while ensuring a safe shopping environment free from fear of crime for both customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver industry-leading customer service
  • Deter violence and public order offences
  • Conduct regular patrols of the store
  • Utilise CCTV systems to support crime reduction and stock loss prevention
  • Liaise with store management and, where required, local police and crime partnerships
  • Wear Body-Worn CCTV to enhance security and safety for colleagues and customers

Qualifications

  • Preferably hold a current SIA licence or SIA certificates (training for a licence may be provided in certain circumstances)
  • Full 5-year checkable employment/education history is required for vetting; failure to provide may result in offer withdrawal or employment termination
