You'll play a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming environment for our customers and colleagues. This is not just a security role; it's for people who stay calm under pressure, lead with professionalism, and deliver excellent service while protecting stores, people and products. All candidates must be able to provide a 5-year checkable work history within the UK.
Responsibilities
- Operate in a fast‑paced retail environment, staying alert and ready to step in when needed.
- Provide customer service by greeting customers and delivering professional support to customers and colleagues.
- Help keep the store safe by preventing loss, responding to incidents, identifying risks and supporting safe ways of working.
- Use store technology, including mobile reporting systems and body‑worn cameras, to support store operations and incident management.
- Remain calm under pressure, acting professionally and confidently when responding to challenging situations or supporting emergency procedures.
- Work closely with store colleagues to maintain high standards, support operations and create a positive environment for everyone.
- Adapt quickly to changing situations to support the store when needed.
What We're Looking For
- Previous security experience is preferred.
- A valid SIA licence is desirable, although not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A calm, confident and professional approach.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to make sound decisions quickly.
