Are you a skilled Mechanical & Electrical Engineer looking for a unique opportunity within a secure and dynamic environment? We\\\’re hiring 2 x Mobile engineers to join our teams supporting sites in Cambridgeshire.
About the Role
This is a mobile role within a single secure site, where engineers work in pairs across multiple buildings within a large complex. A van is essential for navigating between facilities, and all necessary equipment will be provided.
Important Requirements
- DV Clearance is mandatory
- Full UK Driving Licence required.
- Must NOT be colour blind – driving within the sites demands full colour vision for safety and compliance.
- Proven experience in M&E engineering (electrical and mechanical systems).
- Strong fault-finding and maintenance skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct planned and reactive maintenance across multiple buildings.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed.
- Liaise with site contacts and management to ensure smooth operations; escort sub-contractors whilst on-site.
