Cleaning Team Leader • Salary: £11,630 • Contract: Permanent • Employment: Part Time (5‑8pm) • Hours: 15 per week • Location: Police Scotland Training & Recruitment Centre – East Kilbride.
Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Cleaning Team Leader to manage a cleaning team, including the recruitment and development of staff, and to maintain excellent service standards for the delivery of routine planned and periodic cleaning for a Mitie customer.
Responsibilities
- Delivery of routine planned and periodic cleaning.
- Ensure cleaning staff understand and work to task schedules while following correct Health & Safety procedures.
- Provide technical training as and when required.
- Ensure cleaning work is compliant.
- Distribute uniforms, monitor cleanliness standards and the use of materials, and order stocks as necessary.
- Deal with any issues efficiently and in a professional manner, referring to line manager where appropriate.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous supervisory and cleaning experience.
- Good communication skills, reliable, hardworking with a professional attitude.
- Ability to work to a schedule on one’s own initiative.
