About The Role

We're looking for a confident, approachable Retail Security Officer who can bring energy, professionalism and a calm presence to the shop floor. This is a role where no two days are the same as you'll be helping to protect people, prevent loss and create a safe, positive shopping experience for customers and colleagues alike. What You'll Be Doing

  • Providing a visible, reassuring presence on the shop floor
  • Delivering outstanding customer service at all times
  • Deterring theft, anti‑social behaviour and public order offences
  • Carrying out regular store patrols
  • Operating CCTV systems to reduce crime and stock loss
  • Working closely with store management teams
  • Supporting partnerships with Police and local crime networks
  • Using Body Worn CCTV to enhance safety for everyone onsite

  • A valid SIA licence (or willingness to complete the training – we may be able to support you with this)
  • A full 5‑year checkable employment or education history (this is essential for vetting)
  • A proactive, professional and customer‑focused approach
