Job Overview
Protect our customer's property, people, and assets by providing security services in direct accordance with the site's published Assignment Instructions (AI’s) and any subsequent changes. Deliver results that meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators / Service Level Agreements to aid in contract retention. Undertake additional training to ensure continuous development.
Responsibilities
- Full compliance with policies, legal and regulatory requirements as directed by the Security Account Manager and UK law.
- Complete all tasks defined within the published Assignment Instructions.
- Review Assignment Instructions and suggest amendments for improvement.
- Maintain required industry licences (Security Guarding or Door Supervision, CCTV PSS SIA Licence) and renew within 16 weeks before expiry.
- Comply with legal obligations and safety requirements.
- Follow instructions and procedures without unnecessary challenge.
- Work systematically, methodologically and orderly.
Training
- Complete all required competency training.
- Undertake additional training for continuous development.
- Use technology to achieve key work objectives and develop job knowledge.
Health, Safety & Security
- Report health and safety hazards immediately.
- Stay alert to threats and act to reduce disruptions.
- Use common sense, involve others when needed.
- Maintain professional conduct with difficult customers.
- Complete accurate notebook entries after incidents.
- Adhere to schedules and be committed to Mitie and the client.
- Ensure check‑calls are performed at scheduled times.
- Call emergency services and Communication Centre for all incidents.
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous security experience.
- Valid SIA licence.
- SC clearance desirable.
