Responsibilities
- Deliver healthcare to detainees in custody suites in collaboration with police.
- Provide round‑the‑clock coverage as per schedule agreed with the client.
- Work across an assigned region in Police Custody Suites and Force area.
- Work fixed shift patterns: 06:45 – 19:00 day, 18:45 – 07:00 night, 2‑day on/8‑day off rota, including night shifts.
- Maintain patient records and comply with regulations.
Compensation and Contract
- Salary £20,750 per year.
- £500 bonus after 12 months of service.
- Estimated overtime £3,500 per annum.
- Part‑time contract: requires full shifts; part‑time employees may have some night shifts.
- Salary Finance scheme and pension contributions provided.
- NMC/HCPC registration paid.
Requirements
- RN, RGN or RMN with dual registration; minimum 2 post‑qualification years (Band 5).
- Paramedic with minimum 2 post‑qualification years.
- Valid driving license.
- Right to work in the UK: British passport or ILR for 3 years, no gaps out of country >3 months.
- All candidates undergo Police Vetting.
