Security Control Room Operator
We are looking for an organised, efficient, and experienced Control Room Operator to join our security team for Mitie Business Services. You will be working within a supportive team to maintain and monitor CCTV, intruder, and access control systems.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with daily operational requirements – ensuring compliance and accurate recording of incidents to outline identified risks.
- Escalating incidents, reporting Health and Safety concerns, and responding to emergency situations.
- Producing accurate reports to ensure alarms are efficiently responded to.
Qualifications
- Prior control room or security experience.
- Passion for delivering excellent customer service and a desire to excel.
- Awareness of the law across the Private Security Industry, Health and Safety for the Private Security Operative, Fire Safety, Technology and Systems in the Security environment and Emergency Procedures.
- Must have a 5-year verifiable education or work history with references.
Pay & Shift
- Rate of Pay £14.09 per hour
- Shift pattern: 4 on – 4 off (2 days / 2 nights – 12 hour shifts); Averaging 42 hours per week
