Responsibilities
- Carry out routine PPM tasks, planned maintenance in line with scheduled dates, reactive repairs and Electrical Installation work as required.
- Ensure all documentation is completed correctly for all tasks and reactive tasks are reported and recorded on the CAFM system.
- Assist with general building maintenance activities as required.
- Maintain high standards of work in line with company policies and procedures and report any deficiencies in systems or equipment that may affect service delivery, health and safety, or the environment.
- Ensure own work and the work of others supervised is completed in a safe and diligent manner.
Qualifications
- City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2 qualification or equivalent, and 17th/18th edition IEE wiring regulations.
- Experience using a range of maintenance equipment; IPAF 3A & 3B and basic mechanical knowledge is desirable but not essential.
- Good knowledge of building Statutory Compliance; ability to read and understand technical drawings; strong problem-solving and communication skills (verbal and written).
Role details
- Shift pattern: 5 days on, 2 off, 6 days on, 3 off; 7am β 5pm day shift; on-call rota to support sites out of hours.
Desirable skills
- BMS knowledge; experience maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment to defined criteria; experience in a critical environment/data centre is preferred.
