Reports To: Cleaning Manager
Location: Gunwharf Quays Shopping Centre
Contract Type: Full time
Hours: full time including weekends
Salary: £12.60 per hour
Job Purpose
To ensure that designated areas are cleaned to a high standard in line with site requirements and health & safety regulations, providing a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all users.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out cleaning tasks to the highest standards as per the cleaning schedule.
- Ensure all areas such as offices, washrooms, mall areas, corridors, and communal areas are cleaned and maintained.
- Replenish consumables such as toilet rolls, soaps, and paper towels.
- Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with training and company procedures.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Follow company and site-specific health and safety procedures at all times.
- Ensure all equipment is cleaned and stored correctly after use.
- Comply with site security procedures, including wearing the correct uniform and identification.
