You'd be responsible for overseeing cleaning operations at a high‑profile site, ensuring that cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards are met. You will manage a team, support site management, and ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations.
Key Responsibilities- Comprehensive responsibility for team management: supervise cleaning staff, manage rotas, handle attendance and sickness records, support recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
- Operational oversight: maintain consistently high cleaning standards, manage planned and reactive cleaning tasks, keep facilities safe, clean, and well‑kept at all times.
- Provide strong communication and leadership, work closely with management and staff, handle customer needs in a professional manner, attend meetings, and produce reports when required.
- Compliance and administrative duties: update policies and procedures, adhere to health and safety requirements, maintain confidentiality.
- Strong leadership or supervisory experience, ideally within cleaning services.
- Good organisational skills, high attention to detail, ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment, resilience, and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with teams and stakeholders.
- Flexible, reliable, proactive, adaptable to changing operational needs.
- Willingness to undergo a basic DBS check and participate in random drug and alcohol testing.
- Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong IT skills, practical experience using Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Teams, Excel.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform an active role.
