Mitie is seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaning Operative. The role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness, meeting SLA agreements, adhering to cleaning schedules, and creating a welcoming environment for staff, clients, and visitors.

Hours: 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday 5pm to 10pm
Pay: £13.87 per hour
Location: HMRC - Croydon Regional Centre, 1 Ruskin Square, Dingwall Road, Croydon, CR0 2WF
Role Responsibilities
- Ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained, and in safe working order.
- Meet all agreed SLAs and follow cleaning schedules.
- Build knowledge of the designated cleaning area and understand cleaning equipment and chemicals used.
- Follow Health and Safety requirements and complete all required mandatory training.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team, while delivering excellent customer service.
- Cleaning offices, meeting rooms, kitchens, reception areas, and washrooms.
- Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces.
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
- Replenishing cleaning and hygiene supplies.
- Maintaining cleanliness standards in communal areas.
- Reporting maintenance or health and safety concerns when identified.
- Following company cleaning procedures and regulations at all times.
